RN 4 Year Programs in Tennessee
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Many Tennessee colleges and universities offer a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN), which typically requires four years of full-time study to complete. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the Registered Nurse Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
While BSN programs prepare graduates for entry-level registered nursing practice, they also include advanced coursework in leadership, research, community and population health, and evidence-based practice. This additional content supports preparation for a broader range of nursing roles and greater career mobility.
