Thoughts from the Frontline – April 2025

Supporting the Future of Nursing at the Mid‑South Nursing Summit

The Center is excited to share that we are partnering with RJP Systems to develop a new, third‑party website designed to better serve our nursing community. This modern, user‑friendly platform will offer streamlined access to resources, increased opportunities for engagement, and timely, relevant information for nurses and healthcare professionals across the region.

We now have a draft version of the website ready for review, marking an important milestone in our commitment to improving accessibility and communication. Before the site officially launches, we’re inviting our Advisory Board members to explore the preview and share their feedback.

Your insights are critical to ensuring the site reflects the needs and priorities of the community we serve. Please review the draft website and submit your feedback here: Click Here

Despite the gloomy, rainy weather in Memphis, the Center was proud to sponsor and attend the Mid‑South Nursing Summit held at Christian Brothers University, where over 350 nursing students from across the region gathered to learn, connect, and be inspired.

The Summit provided an incredible opportunity for students to engage with leaders in the field, gain insight into career pathways, and build community with their peers. We provided breakfast and lunch for all attendees, and hosted an informational table where students could learn more about our mission and resources.

It was a joy to meet so many passionate future nurses—your energy and honest conversations remind us why we do this work. Thank you for sharing your stories; the future of nursing is in excellent hands.
