Exciting Updates from the Center: A New Chapter Begins
The Center is thrilled to announce that we are working in partnership with RJP Systems to develop a brand‑new, third‑party website designed to enhance user experience and better serve our community. This initiative is aimed at creating a modern, user‑friendly platform that provides valuable resources, engagement opportunities, and critical information for nurses and healthcare professionals.
We anticipate having a draft version of the website ready for review in the first couple of weeks of March. This milestone will mark a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to improve accessibility, streamline communication, and highlight the incredible work being done in the nursing community.
Once the draft website is available, we will share a preview link with our advisory board to gather feedback and ensure the final version meets the needs of our audience. Your insights will be invaluable in refining the site before its official launch.
We are excited about this transformation and look forward to sharing more updates in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
As we move into the Spring, we’re thrilled at the progress the Center is making. As Dr. Jennifer Hitt settles into her role, she’s bringing fresh ideas, a collaborative spirit, and an inspiring vision that will guide us as we continue to expand and enhance the services we offer.
Under her leadership, the Center is actively working on several exciting initiatives that will not only improve the quality of our programs but also support the development of our community of healthcare professionals.
Key Projects in the Works:
- Surveys: We are sending out surveys to better understand the needs and climate of nursing in Tennessee.
- Nurse of the Month Campaign: Recognizing and celebrating the hard work and dedication of nurses is at the core of our mission. Our campaign highlights outstanding individuals making a difference in healthcare—stay tuned for more information.
- New Marketing/Email Software: To improve communication, we are in the process of purchasing new marketing and email software to keep everyone updated more effectively.
- Curriculum Development: Developing new curricula for LPN IV and Dialysis Technicians to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their roles.
- CEU Hub: Establishing the Center as a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) hub to offer more professional development opportunities.
- Nurse Leadership Fellows: Starting our next class of Nurse Leadership Fellows, designed to mentor and guide the next generation of nurse leaders.
- Transition to Practice: A program that helps new nurses smoothly transition into their roles with the tools for success.
Additionally, we’re excited to announce that we’ve added—or will be attending—several important meetings and conferences in the coming months. These opportunities will allow us to connect with industry experts, share best practices, and ensure we remain at the forefront of healthcare education.
We’re energized by the direction the Center is taking and look forward to seeing how these new initiatives will help us continue to serve the needs of our nursing community. We’ll keep you updated on these exciting developments and encourage you to get involved in any way you can! As always, thank you for being a vital part of our community.
